The precision casting process begins with the creation of a wax model of the desired part. This model is then coated with a ceramic shell, which hardens to form a mold. Once the shell is solidified, the wax is melted and drained away, leaving a cavity in the shape of the intended part. Next, molten metal is poured into this cavity to form the final product. After cooling, the shell is broken away to reveal the intricately detailed component.
